2006.....the year that was...
wel....2006 ended...and with it ended a lotta memories for me...a lotta bitter sweet moments of realities that defined the "me" for the coming year.....
it was a great yr...for career, it was an obviously rocking yr, with me getting into IMT and taking a step forward to the life which promises a lot to me and which can unlock the doors of freedom and untold challenges.
it was also an year where i incidentally ended my 4 yrs of mechanical engg and moved on to do the mba....but as they say....u can take a guy outta mechanical engg...but u cant take mechanical engg outta a guy!! so i still crave for those tension free, guys only classes and jokes...those days where we roamed the campus like roadies and looked at the world thru our piston rings...!
neways....there is a time for everything under the sun..and so was the time for orkutting. getting started at it as a part time recreation activity by me while in the engg college, it outgrew and overshadowed rest of my activities (except daaru...!!) and when i incidentally thought to mke a community on orkut pertaining to the 2008 batch that we were gonna be a part of, that was a resounding success....and the level of interaction between the batch mates grew phenomenally.....
then there were time like fest and farewell...where i recollected the old moments in college....
actually the even sem used to be the more happening sems in the college, with fests et al...but this yr something different....i felt like we r not the part of the college mainstream anymore..more like a guest preparing to leave...the place where i learnt most important lessons of life....where made some very good friends, found love and rediscovered myself....
neways...life moves on....nightouts with close friends ended and day of reckoning came...we all separated and stepped in the outside world..to make a life of our own.....
and i got tonsured....partly as a tribute to summer goddess...partly as a style statement...!! after spending a few days at home...i had to come to IMT...and thus began a very interesting phase of my life....very very interesting phase...
after initial ragging (personality development program rather!!), began the grind of studies...and simultaneously began the daaru parties, nightouts and all encompassing BHASAD.....made a lot of good friends here...organised events and learnt a lot from life...watched lotta movies (esp in the exams.. and screwed the first term royally..with cgpa not coming as per the expectations....
now as the yr end drew to a close...and finally passed....i look back to this yr as a very eventful one....
the biggest learning of this yr was...
