Ayn Rand..the master of objectivism

well...i read The Fountainhead just yesterday..and man....phew!! what an exhiliriating experience it was...
well.. i am not boasting..but i can say with pretty confidence that i had read a huge no. of books in my life....but fountainhead is the best book that i have read....no other book is within miles of this great epic struggle of an individual against the flawed systems of our society....
i can say that there is a bit of fountainhead in all of us...yes...but many of us fail to realise the potential of that fountainhead...the creative head...the blazing and exploding volcano of uniqueness....
it is true..we all live within our boundations...just accepting what we want to see....and this "what we wannna see" is imbibed in us from the start ...by none other than our society. we limit ourselves, mould ourslves according to the demands, whims and "rules" of our society. a particular thing may appear abvsurd to us, a custom may be very outdated, we may want to listen to our heart and live our life to the fullest, as we were destined to do by the creator of this universe. but in reality...we just abide to the norms laid upon us by the society....we restrict ourselves...and continue to live in a matrix....
Yes..can we find a similarity here...between Matrix(movie), the philosophies of Descartes and our great epic Gita..? the quintessential question of existence ...and the illusion of a matrix woven around us....by our subconscious....

well...to think of it...i dont think that we have changed a lot from our anscestors....ya ya..our jeans, our cellphones..our laptops...these all are just an illusion man..!
we havenot changed from our primitive mindsets...we continue to be dogged by caste and creed...by regional parochial attitudes and by mindless jingoistic noise....
what have we come upto....a society that puts Socrates to poison....that rejects galelio ....and that still continues to have a reservation in our education system....what have we gained from being a collective "society"...!! we r a social animal by nature...this a great philosopher said....but waht real benefite have we accrued by being social...? it only gives us a sense of security...thats it...
all the great achievements have been achieved by a single person....may he be steve jobs, galelio , edison, kautilya, mahatama gandhi or leonardo da vinci...

we have to beleive in the power of one man to change something......
anything.....
